Clear Aligners in Hampton Park

If you have been thinking about straightening your teeth but are not sure where to start, clear aligners may be an option worth exploring. At our dental clinic, we offer two clear aligner systems, Invisalign® and Angel Aligner, that Hampton Park patients can access locally, along with other orthodontic solutions, so you can get the care you need close to home.

What Clear Aligners Can Help Correct

Clear aligners can be used to address a range of orthodontic concerns, including:

  • Crowding or overlapping teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Mild to moderate bite issues such as overbite or crossbite
  • Teeth that have shifted since childhood braces

According to the Better Health Channel, orthodontic treatment works by applying gentle pressure to move teeth into a more favourable position over time. Clear aligners achieve this with a series of removable trays rather than fixed brackets and wires.

Not all orthodontic issues can be treated with aligners. Your dentist will assess your teeth and let you know whether aligners are appropriate for your situation.

Why Choose Hampton Park Dental for Clear Aligners?

Not every dental practice offers orthodontic treatment, and not every patient suits the same approach. At Hampton Park Dental, you have access to experienced dentists, modern planning tools and alternative options if aligners are not the right fit.

Experienced Local Dentists

Dr Siew Yong and Dr Bilal Arain both provide clear aligner treatment at our Hampton Park clinic. Dr Yong also offers MyoBrace, FastBraces and traditional braces, giving you access to a range of orthodontic options within the same practice.

Two Aligner Systems to Choose From

We offer both Invisalign® and Angel Aligner™ clear aligners. Your dentist will talk you through which system may suit your teeth, your treatment goals and your budget.

Digital Planning for a Better Fit

We use digital impressions and ceph X-rays to plan your treatment. Digital impressions are more comfortable than traditional moulds and produce a more accurate scan of your teeth, which helps your dentist design a tailored treatment plan.

Braces Are Also Available

Clear aligners are not suitable for every patient or every case. If your dentist determines that fixed braces would be more appropriate for the type of correction you need, we offer that option here too. You will not need to be referred to another clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We have dentists who provide a range of orthodontic treatment options, including traditional braces, clear aligners and Myobrace.

We recommend booking an orthodontic consultation so our team can assess your needs and recommend the most suitable treatment options.

You can also explore our treatment options to find out which of our clinicians offers the orthodontic services you're interested in.

Yes! If you're considering extensive dental treatment, we can help you gain early access to your superannuation funds to help you cover the cost of your treatment. Early super access can be ideal in these situations:

  • You or at least one family member have superannuation funds
  • You don't have personal health fund insurance
  • It would be a financial hardship to cover the cost of your treatment with personal resources

Our team can help you with the paperwork for early super access while a SuperCare representative walks you through the rest of the process. You can contact our team for more information on early super access.

Note: Accessing superannuation for dental treatment is subject to eligibility and approval by the relevant government agency. We can assist with the process, but approval is not guaranteed.

Other Convenient Payment Options

If early super access is not an option for you, we do offer other options that can help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for dental care, such as:

  • A gap-free comprehensive check-up and clean for eligible patients on any private health fund
  • Preferred provider status with Medibank, Bupa, CBHS, HCF, NIB and Smile, which may mean even lower out-of-pocket costs on selected treatments
  • Relationships with third-party companies that can offer affordable monthly payment plans, like Humm, Afterpay, TLC
  • Medicare Child Dental Benefit
  • HICAPS claims processing

Eligibility for health fund benefits, payment plans, and superannuation access varies depending on the provider and individual circumstances. Terms, conditions, and lending criteria apply. Please check with your health fund or finance provider to confirm your eligibility before treatment.

If you need help sorting out the best payment arrangement for your dental care, please get in touch with your Hampton Park dentist and speak with one of our knowledgeable and helpful team members.

The cost of dental treatment depends on the type of procedures you need, and it's very specific to each patient's unique needs. The best way to determine the cost of your treatment is to book an evaluation with one of our dentists to determine your own treatment needs.

During your evaluation, our dentists discuss your oral health goals with you and gather information about your smile and dental health with an exam, x-rays, and photos of your teeth. After your evaluation, you'll clearly understand your treatment needs and options, what your timeline looks like for finishing, and the cost.

Payment Options for Every Budget in Hampton Park

We don't want finances to keep you from getting the dental care you need, so we offer several excellent options for payment or to help reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.

  • Preferred provider status with several private health funds, including Medibank, Bupa, HCF, NIB, CBHS and Smile
  • Early access to superannuation funds for extensive dental treatment
  • Relationships with third-party companies that can offer affordable monthly payment plans, like Humm, Afterpay, TLC
  • Medicare Child Dental Benefit - Bulk billing
  • HICAPS claims processing

Your Hampton Park dentist can help you navigate your payment options to ensure you can comfortably fit your dental treatment into your budget

Please Note: Eligibility for health fund benefits, payment plans, and superannuation access varies depending on the provider and individual circumstances. Terms, conditions, and lending criteria apply. Please check with your health fund or finance provider to confirm your eligibility before treatment.

What to Expect with Clear Aligner Treatment

Your dentist will examine your teeth, take digital scans and x-rays and discuss what you would like to change. Based on what they find, they will recommend whether clear aligners or another approach may be more suitable.

Wearing Your Aligners

You will receive a series of custom trays, each designed to move your teeth slightly. Wear time is usually around 20 to 22 hours a day, and you should remove them only to eat, brush and drink anything other than water. Each set of aligners is typically worn for one to two weeks before moving on to the next. Treatment length varies depending on the complexity of your case.

After Treatment

Once your teeth have reached their planned position, you will need to wear a retainer to help keep them in place. Without a retainer, teeth can gradually shift back over time. Your dentist will explain what type of retainer is recommended and how long you will need to wear it.
